Description

A healthy, high-protein twist on the nostalgic Dunkaroo Dip made with cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, and Funfetti cake mix.

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup cottage cheese

1 cup plain Greek yogurt

½ cup Funfetti cake mix (heat-treated if desired)

¼ cup whipped topping (optional)

1 tablespoon sweetener of choice (honey, maple syrup, or stevia)

2 tablespoons rainbow sprinkles (optional)

½ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

1. Blend cottage cheese in a food processor until smooth.

2. In a bowl, combine blended cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, and heat-treated Funfetti cake mix.

3. Stir in sweetener and vanilla extract. Adjust to taste.

4. Fold in whipped topping if using for extra fluffiness.

5. Mix in sprinkles, reserving some for garnish.

6. Chill for 30 minutes before serving with crackers, cookies, or fruit.

Notes

Heat-treat cake mix to make it safe to eat.

Store in the fridge for up to 3 days. Stir before serving.

Add protein powder for an extra high-protein Funfetti dip.

Skip whipped topping for a denser, cottage cheese dessert dip.
